Day 28: Float

From Stephen King’s horror story, It, we get the image of a red balloon and the chanting, “You’ll float too!“

My mother is a HUGE Stephen King fan, so needless to say I read this tome the summer before 6th grade. I. Was. Scared. To. Death. I stayed up all night to read because there was NO Sleeping in the dark!

It’s been over 30 years, so I think it’s about time for a re-read; the movies are terrifying at all – nothing is like your own imagination filling in the details of what you fear most. For me? I like spiders, snakes, and insects… it’s clowns who are always at the top of my fear list.

Progress, not perfection.

Ink it up.
