With the Supreme Court confirmation yesterday, all I can think about is Don McLean’s song, “American Pie” – where he sings about the day the music died.’
Of course, paradoxically enough, this could be the day women’s rights die — along with LGBTQA+, immigrants, and people of color.
I have no words.
Progress, not perfection.
