Thank you for joining our awesome writing community who challenges themselves weekly as we weave together our 100 words!
I’ve missed seeing you on Instagram {my IG home educating profile} and here, but look forward to catching up with you this summer!
Miss me? Feel free to post stories linked to previous 100 Word Wednesday images — just follow the tab on my homepage, follow a link to another image below, or search my website for fun 100 Word Wednesday images to write about.
What 100 words would you give this image?
Interested in joining us? Check out the guidelines below and ping back to be included in the Writing Wind-up!
Let the writing begin!

How to participate? A few guidelines as we begin….
- Simply check my feed, or search the reader, for the 100WW or tag #100WW, post each Wednesday. I’ll also be posting on my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Feeds.
- Write your submission on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook Feed and ping back to the weekly blog post. Feel free to use the image provided or your own. Please do credit the artist whose image we use — Links provided.
- I have not enabled automatic pingbacks due to a plethora of spam messages attempting to link up. Do feel free to also continue posting your links and I will enable your pingbacks as I check my blog. Thank you for understanding!!
- I’ll provide a Weekly Summary, or Windup, of posts on or by Tuesday; take the opportunity to read and comment on your fellow bloggers posts {keeping in mind to give each other grace and space}. I try to read them all and post your submission in the Weekly Windup.
- Have fun! I enjoy reading your challenge submissions!

Ugh! Circular arguments are so irritating. It’s all too common and people stay with the undercurrent of conflict. I’ve just reached a point in my life where I can not longer participate in the constant bickering. I’m reevaluating the value versus cost of the few remaining relationships like this I have. Thank you for joining us this week 🖤

That proverbial light at the end of the tunnel – I’m so happy you saw this image as hopeful!
Being mentally bedraggled by the chaos of the US presidential election, I’m less hopeful – I see it as a raging fire of death at the end. Dystopian future today 😉

The world is going to hell in a handbasket, and our leaders are helping it along. The UK is sinking fast but IMO they’ve left it too late….. again. Keep well and safe Kelly.

How lovely and sad. Seeing the long road of emptiness in what was once a life full of family, friends, and love is not only heartbreaking for those afflicted, but the very loved ones around them 🖤 I had anticipated this being a piece about the disconnectedness we {I} feel in the pandemic, but it is so much more. Beautiful piece – thank you for joining us again this week 🖤
