Inktober 2020
Day 12: Slippery
Indigenous Peoples Day
October 12, 2020
It’s a Slippery Slope . . . that pernicious lie white males who drove out Indigenous People’s tell us to believe. It’s NOT Columbus Day, he only ‘discovered’ North America for Europeans. Indigenous peoples had first discovered this land, lived here, cared for it, and were driven from it.
Progress, not perfection.
Ink it up.

There you have it – 31 days of ink all for your drawing and sketching pleasure! I choose to do all my sketches as quick, black ink thumbnails – but there are a plethora of artists doing all sorts of crazy cool art! On most social media platforms you can follow Jake Parker, creator of Inktober, or just Inktober – or by using the hashtags Inktober and Inktober2020 { #Inktober #Inktober2020 } – I post mine on Instagram, but this year I’ll also be posting here!
I’d love to see your work – feel free to catch up with me here or over on Instagram!
Happy Inking!
Very tragic.
