So worth it!!! We did too — lots of tears, laughs, and saw it with an audience who we cheered a lot with….and collective silences, where the only sound that could be heard was the wiping of my tears 🖤
We decided when we bought tickets to the Opening Night of Avengers Endgame, we’d reserve Captain Marvel in the theatre. We decided to make it a double feature yesterday since Endgame is the end of the Avengers Saga.
Reserving tickets at our favorite AMC theatre is easy using their app – you choose your movie, theatre, showing time, and seats.
My guys and I splurged on popcorn and drinks to see Captain Marvel again.

My husband and I went over a decade without seeing movies in the theatre at all. We didn’t have cable, and Netflix wasn’t yet streaming, it was still a DVD rental service {does anyone even remember that?}. I can tell you: we’ve made up for it seeing most of the Marvel movies in theatres, as well as our beloved Star Wars saga.

The Last Jedi was another piece to the end of a saga I have loved most of my life. Star Wars is the epic saga I loved from my youth. Though my children love Star Wars, almost as much as I do, I think they’d probably say The Avengers Saga from Marvel is actually the cinematic saga they love most from their youth.
We were stunned at the end of Avengers: Infinity War – the end to Avengers Endgame?
Quiet acceptance. A few tears. The end of an era.
I’ll update this post without reflections and review on Endgame – but I won’t spoil it for you today 🖤
