I turned the corner, and there it was: the studio of my dreams. I could think only of stretching out on the sofa, curling up in the chair with a cup of tea, and writing relentlessly in that space. The light, the shadows, the shades of green in-between feed my soul. Through the harsh afternoon light, I knew my spirits would be lifted, the feeling of nothingness would pass into oblivion. I could strike out again, I could make it my own, I could get the words out of my wretched soul.

Words proliferate.

I am again whole unto myself.
