How to participate? A few guidelines as we begin….

  1. Simply check my feed, or search the reader, for the 100WW or tag #100WW, post each Wednesday. I’ll also be posting on my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Feeds.
  2. Write your submission on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook Feed and ping back to the weekly blog post. Feel free to use the image provided or your own. Please do credit the artist whose image we use — Links provided.
  3. I have not enabled automatic pingbacks due to a plethora of spam messages attempting to link up. Do feel free to also continue posting your links and I will enable your pingbacks as I check my blog. Thank you for understanding!!
  4. I’ll provide a Weekly Summary, or Windup, of posts on or by Tuesday; take the opportunity to read and comment on your fellow bloggers posts {keeping in mind to give each other grace and space}. I try to read them all and post your submission in the Weekly Windup.
  5. Have fun! I enjoy reading your challenge submissions!

    1. My apologies! I stuck it to the wrong week 😉 Updated now — thanks for reaching out 🙂 I dropped my phone Christmas Eve, cracking the glass, and haven’t updated all the electronics yet! Thanks for the catch!

      1. So lucky! Mine is only a few years old and I’ve gotten complacent about posting from the Word Press App – so when mine died, I had to wait for a replacement/log on to the computer. I’m not thrilled with the ‘new’ Word Press post editing features, but I imagine I just need to acclimate to the changes 😉 Thank you so much for checking in!!

      2. Right now, it’s an option to use or to not use. I thought I’d really like it because it’s more ‘user friendly’, but I found a lot of the functionality I use is not supported in a way that makes logical sense to me. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t love the WordPress platform as it is — I find it clunky, it seemingly reformats posts at will, and links through affiliates aren’t supported — not to mention issues with images, particularly in the sidebar. I’ve sent loads of feedback to WordPress, but it’s as if we’re speaking different languages altogether. Though I attribute some of it to my not being fully technologically minded, I do have some coding experience and find the section to be helpful in changing some of the formatting issues, but the new editor doesn’t allow for it. I didn’t realize that there are loads of images not loading on my website until a friend of mine mentioned it and I took a look in the ‘private window’. Ugh. So I’ve been in a holding pattern on doing anything with my blog until I feel I have the time to dedicate to it. With two teens, and my studying Latin with them, my time has been stretched pretty thin. My writing has been mostly off-line. However, I got an iPad for Christmas and am planning on getting some apps loaded onto it so I can more easily update my blog on the go with connectivity through my phone! I’m getting my new phone updated today – then I’ll be learning how to use the new technology! Here’s for hoping it makes life easier 🙂

      3. 😉 I feel that way sometimes too — I think that’s why I’ve been so reluctant to work on the issues with my blog. I inadvertently changed the layout early last year and I’ve had issues ever since!! I keep putting it on the proverbial backburner, but *fingers crossed* I’ll get it figured out in the next month or so!!
