‘…I hear the mountains calling me and I must go.’ – John Muir
It was gorgeous this week, but I need a grey day to catch up on chores and reading at home!
But it’s true: when the mountain is out in Seattle, you’ve got to go out and enjoy it!!
I took this image with my iPhone while on the I-90 Floating Bridge. The views form this bridge are amazing when the mountain is out. Even when the sun is out in Seattle, you may never see the mountain. Because of it’s altitude, Mount Rainier actually creates his own weather system. Sometimes, all you see are a cloudy blob in the distance.
Not familiar with Seattle? This is the gorgeous Mount Rainier! At over 14,000 feet above sea level, he’s a marvel to behold – whether hours away in Seattle or on the mountain himself.
