November 2017 Weekly Bullet Journal Spread

img_0888Keeping on top of homeschooling, traveling, blogging; being a mother, daughter, sister, wife, friend, mother, woman, blogger….. am a bit obsessive about planning. Getting all the dots lined up, all the items checked off, is part of the process.

This month I’m keeping track of my time and my habits with this weekly spread. I’d been bopping back and forth between my ending Happy Planner, my new Happy Planner, and my new, yet to be broken in Bullet Journal.

I still haven’t migrated all my collections from my initial Bullet Journal over to my new Bullet Journal, and I suppose that’s why I keep dragging my feet and using field notebook sized journals to carry around my schedule and my thoughts, but I’ve gone through 4 of them and it’s time to get back to business and have one journal for all my on-the-go crazy.

While I do tend to love a more minimalist look, every week over the last month my spreads have gotten more and more colorful. Well, more full. I’d like to blame a creative burst, but I find I’m doodling a lot since I’m taking a break {sort of} from social media this month to squeeze in more time for my novel writing in NaNoWriMo 2017. I like having the free space to not mindlessly browse or lurk on my favorite blogs, Facebook feeds, Instagram, and more — it’s like watching the clouds part.

It doesn’t hurt we took a little side trip this weekend to Vancouver, British Columbia! img_0855We’ve lived all this time in Seattle and never made our way a few hours north to the border? We had big plans to see it all, but I was already starting to feel ill before we left and ended up having a medicated, yet depleting, cold over our long weekend. We still had a great time taking in the sights and great meals!

I have many more images on my Instagram Account, as well as on my ‘real’ camera — as soon as I get a break in the action, I’ll be looking through them. Who knows, maybe I’ll get around to writing a couple of posts on all the great travel we’ve been able to do this year? It’s on my 18 before 2018 list!

And as I carry on, I realize with these few minutes, I could be writing towards my NaNoWriMo word count. With all these wonderful thoughts and ideas buzzing ’round, I think it’ll be a productive session!!

How are you spending your time this month?
