Freedom
I love horses.
When I was a child, I loved horses. I drew horses, took riding lessons, wrote stories, and begged for horses. My love wasn’t just to have a horse, to ride a horse, but to be a horse. My father, loving me as he does, made my dreams come true. I had horses, I rode horses, I fed horses, whispered my thoughts to them.
As I grew, I felt trapped by my horses. I wanted to grow up and felt the horses were holding me back. How very wrong I was.
You see a horse; I see freedom.

I gather that’s true–unfortunately I’m afraid of most animals, specially tall horses 🙂

I love this! 😍 I’ve never ridden a horse, but I still want to someday. My grandma’s neighbor has horses and they are such majestic creatures! 🙂

😀 I’ve considered it! (My grandma allows him to let the horses graze in her field sometimes so at times they are right there!) I must admit, I’m slightly scared to actually get on one. I don’t like heights and horses are tall. I don’t want to be thrown off. 😂 Which is kind of funny considering one of the first novels I actually finished was about a girl and a horse. I read a bunch of books about riding horses for research so I know I’m making it seem much worse in my head than it actually would be. XD You make me want to ride one now. 🙂

You’ll love it💕 I rode for years as a child – it really was my dream. However, I’ve found fear leads to compromises of dreams and eventual regret. I won’t regret not skydiving, but the beauty of horses — never 💕

😍 That’s wonderful!
“However, I’ve found fear leads to compromises of dreams and eventual regret.” <– Wow. Haha, i completely get that about skydiving. I think I'd die of fright on the way down. 😂
That's so reassuring! I look forward to riding now. 🙂
If I may ask, what kind of horse did you ride?
