This challenge: hosted by Sonya – @ Only 100 Words – The idea? Only 3 lines on the image!

Never Alone
Shut the blinds, lock the doors
All I want to do is be alone
Someone’s always watching…waiting…

I linked up — why not take a whirl, it could be fun for you too!
From Sonya, Week 61 Three Line Tales, Guidelines:
“Check the TLT page for the full guidelines, but here’s the gist:
- Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt.
- Link back to this post.
- Tag your post with 3LineTales (so we can find you in the Reader).
- Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
- If you want your post to be included in the round-up, you have until Sunday evening to publish it.
- Have fun.
Happy three-lining!”
So true! Someone told me that technology has evolved to the point “someone” can fly overhead and see through our roofs–that is Not a Good thing! On the flip side, though, I’m happy there are cameras in many places–which result in abductions being filmed, and more predators caught and convicted. I guess it’s a case of “if we want the benefits, we have to accept the diminished privacy”…

There are truths in your words, however, as we become more connected as a society, so too should we put on the mantle of tolerance, acceptance, respect, and kindness. These basic truths of civil society fall far short of many who make use of modern technologic innovations.

I feel like you were channeling Rockwell’s song “Somebody’s Watching Me. At least those are the lyrics that immediately jumped into my head when I read this. Very nice.
