Week 9
Thanks for stopping by for Week 9 of 100 Word Wednesdays! Thanks for your patience as we make it through another week of illness at my house….
I fancied the girl in the image was myself. Though she is much younger and classically beautiful, her peering through the evergreens, produced a plethora of stories instantly. I chose this image last month when I thought winter days would be over. Thankfully, here in the Pacific Northwest, we’ve hopefully seen the last of it.
The fluffy white stuff – while not pictured, is certainly insinuated in this image – but no longer in my yard. I’m sorry to hear the snow is so negatively affecting those on the east coast of the United States. Hopefully, you are all safe at home, hunkering down in the storm, enjoying your drink of choice, curled up reading a good book, blog, or maybe even writing!
Please take a few minutes to read and comment on your fellow writers work 🙂
The Vigil – Lorraine’s frilly freudian slip
Looking out the Window – sailorpoet

No Great Shakes – Martin Cororan
New Boy in School – This is Another Story
Goat Track – Ramblings of a Writer
Frozen – Following Him Beside Still Waters
Winter End – The Showers of Blessing
Life Trilogy (A Traveller’s Prose Poem) – Thoughts of Words
Didn’t get in this week? No worries! I’ll be posting a new challenge every Wednesday 🙂
How to participate? A few guidelines as we begin….
- Simply check my feed, or search the reader, for the 100WW or tag #100WW, post each Wednesday. I’ll also be posting on my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Feeds.
- Write your submission on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook Feed and ping back to the weekly blog post. Feel free to use the image provided or your own. Please do credit the artist whose image we use – Links provided!
- I’ll provide a Weekly Summary, or Windup, of posts on or by Tuesday; take the opportunity to read and comment on your fellow bloggers posts {keeping in mind to give each other grace and space}. I’ll try to read them all, but I can’t post your submission in the Weekly Wind-Up if you haven’t posted before the end of the weekend but I’ll do my best to catch ’em all!
- Have fun! I enjoy reading your challenge submissions 🙂
thank you sweetie for a lovely prompt and hosting this amazing community!

Thanks for letting me know! I’ll take a look — I want to blame WordPress for the issues, but I’m sure it’s me 😉 I’d been attempting to use the option to ‘overwrite’ weekly posts {versus cutting and pasting} when it came to the basis for Weekly Wind-Ups, Introduction to 100 Word Wednesday images….as well as my dedicated Three Line Tale submissions on Sonya’s blog. Turns out, even with editing, the feature doesn’t work very well. I’m on it this morning — Thank you kindly for letting me know 🙂

Happy to help if it is such, though I am really not a technical person when it comes to all this! But you do so much of work to get it all sorted out I thank you for your time and effort. WordPress can do some weird stuff all the time
