Happy Earth Day!! • I’ll be planting trees and getting my garden in the ground today to celebrate. • My career, once upon a time, was as an Environmentalist. The aftermath of Easter... • We didn’t take a family picture, but we did go to church, play tennis, mow and ‘manicure’ the lawn, and do a little egg hunt 😉 • After the Nerf Wars, of course! • Though these years are fleeting, I don’t dwell on the past. We fully enjoyed their young childhoods together. • Now we celebrate the teens they are with an eye on the men they are becoming. • It reminds me of the little adage: We don’t have it all together, but together we have it all 🖤 • ’Gather ye rosebuds while ye may’ - Robert Herrick • • • •

Eggvengers: Egg-game! • The ladies of Marvel as told in eggs - our big egg decorating party for Easter! • I chose to paint/dye/draw {l-r}: Gamora {Guardians of the Galaxy}, Maria Hill {Agents of Shield}, Black Widow {Avengers}, Shuri {Black Panther}, TBD {by you, who should it be?}, and Captain Marvel {Captain Marvel}. • I am torn on my 6th egg, should it be Nebula, Scarlet Witch, The Wasp {my original thought}, Okoye, Valkyrie {Tessa Thompson’s unnamed character in Thor: Ragnorok}, Hela {though she’s a villain}, an Agent of Shield.... • You decide! Let me know who needs to be represented - The Wasp, who is in the only other non-represented movie hero - except maybe Aunt May? • Enjoy the Eggstravaganza!!

3 guesses.... • You know what we’re doing, we’ve been brushing up on our MCU backstory... • ... We’re watching them out of release order, but in the order we needed to see them. • It’s all about the character development, the storyline, the Easter Eggs... • So appropriate, for the weekend, to be unraveling our encyclopedic knowledge of Marvel and the runup to Avengers Endgame. • Long before we’d seen the movies, we were knee-deep in Marvel. The comics: stories, adventure, and excitement - these have thrilled my guys since they were toddlers {yes: I had an early reader & no: we didn’t stick to the ‘typical’ homeschool reading script} • We cannot believe this is the End. • Though the story....it lives on ... • Thursday evening we see Endgame...and Friday...but first, we need to finish a few more movies before we see Captain Marvel in the theatre...then Endgame Thursday!! • How are you preparing?

Library Haul! • Bookstack inspired by @intentionalhomeschooling 🖤 • I took a free egg class at the Woodinville branch of the King County Library System {KCLS}, I perused the stacks of nonfiction before I left. • We’re learning how to create and enhance art on our iPad and computers, as well as some fun reads for me and finishing up our second year of medieval studies and art.... • The education and learning never really ends! • How was your Thursday?

My heart breaks... • The beautiful Notre Dame de Paris, such an iconic cathedral, burns. • We were just there in November {2018} and climbed as high as permitted to the bell tower. It’s magnificence cannot be overstated. • The loss ... tragic. • Scroll through - the first two images were posted on my Travel IG account { @bikurgurl_travels } but I have hundreds I took on my Cannon DSLR camera. • A piece of history can be restored, but the original is forever gone. • • •
