Week 6
I’m thrilled to have you join us for Week 6 of 100 Word Wednesdays!
The image this week is one I took late last year when my husband and I were able to squeeze a few hours out for a date night dinner. In between dropping children off for theatre, working, working out, and all the other things in our lives, we took a few hours to linger over a table of delicious food at lovely Deru, just outside of Seattle.
Delightful!
Let me also apologize for my delay in reading your wonderful submissions – next on my long list of abandoned tasks this week. It’s been an…interesting week and weekend. Deluge of issues I’m slowly working though. Life is full of ups and downs, and I’m thankful to have another go at it tomorrow.
Thank you for your patience!!
Please take a few minutes to read and comment on your fellow writers 🙂

Didn’t get in this week? No worries! I’ll be posting a new challenge every Wednesday 🙂
How to participate? A few guidelines as we begin….
- Simply check my feed, or search the reader, for the 100WW or tag #100WW, post each Wednesday. I’ll also be posting on my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Feeds.
- Write your submission on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook Feed and ping back to the weekly blog post. Feel free to use the image provided or your own. Please do credit the artist whose image we use – Links provided!
- I’ll provide a Weekly Summary, or Windup, of posts on or by Tuesday; take the opportunity to read and comment on your fellow bloggers posts {keeping in mind to give each other grace and space}. I’ll try to read them all, but I can’t post your submission in the Weekly Wind-Up if you haven’t posted before the end of the weekend but I’ll do my best to catch ’em all!
- Have fun! I enjoy reading your challenge submissions 🙂
I am SO hungry right now, and that cake makes me want to reach through the laptop screen and grab it!!!
