Fear strangled me as a girl. My hopes and dreams were suffocated as my reality sunk in. I am a woman in a male dominated world. Men chose the paths that were open to me.

I raged, caged in my own prison of self-doubt, unknowlingly conforming to societal standards.

Fast-forward to this girl.

The girl who blossomed into a woman. She stands on her ground: on her own two feet. She follows her dreams.

Her heart.

A woman who stands up for herself: What she wants, Who she is, others.

She is my inspiration; my spirit animal.

She is phenomenal.
