Week 3
I’m thrilled to have you all join me for Week 3 of 100 Word Wednesdays!
Many of you asked about this image. It is the skylight in the stairwell at a wonderful museum called The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California. We liked it so well when we went, we spent two days exploring the museum! We’re museum lovers and life-long learners!
Please take a few minutes to read and comment on your fellow writers π

Didnβt get in this week? No worries! Iβll be posting a new challenge every Wednesday π
How to participate? A few guidelines as we beginβ¦.
- Simply check my feed, or search the reader, for the 100WW or tag #100WW, post each Wednesday. Iβll also be posting on my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Feeds.
- Write your submission on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook Feed and ping back to the weekly blog post. Feel free to use the image provided or your own. Please do credit the artist whose image we use – Links provided!
- Iβll provide a Weekly Summary, or Windup, of posts on or by Tuesday; take the opportunity to read and comment on your fellow bloggers posts {keeping in mind to give each other grace and space}. Iβll try to read them all, but I canβt post your submission in the Weekly Windup if you havenβt posted before the end of the weekend but Iβll do my best to catch βem all!
- Have fun! I enjoy reading your challenge submissions π

Thanks! I’m glad you liked it. I find that I am too influenced by place, space, and others writings, so I avoid them at all costs when writing for this, or any, writing challenge. I prefer my submission to be my own without inadvertently being influenced by others. Glad you liked it and looking forward to next weeks’ submission π

same here – I want the photo to speak before I write something – even though I may be so off the actual origin its ok with me and a nice surprise when I find out later! sometimes it triggers a long lost memory or creates a new one. yes looking forward to this week’s prompt too.

I was looking at it, thinking of a lighthouse–the spiral staircase…but then I got too chicken to write for the prompt, lest I be way off ! π

Museums are wonderful outings…we go on vacations, field trips, and family trips π In Seattle, the first Thursday of the month offers free entry to many local museums in the city. Many other cities have similar programs and even many museums have reciprocal agreements with other museums, so entry to one is entry to many more. Here’s sending you museum love β€

Oh, the best kind of vacations: the educational ones! Hehe, I love learning stuff. π
Wow, that is really great! I had no idea. Now I want to check into the ones around where I live and see if they do that….
π Sending museum love right back at you! π
