    1. I love the idea of exploring why you’ve fallen! In my mind, I saw the darkened room where the flag lay to be a bit morose — that the speaker anticipates the answer to the rhetorical question to be, “I won’t fail – I can’t fail – Failure is not an option”. However, I find through exploration of failure, not only a richness, but increase in breadth in life, is to follow with exploring failures. Failures will most assuredly always greatly outnumber successes, allowing for many opportunities to rise above and improve. Thank you so much for stopping by!!

    1. ‘Gather ye rosebuds’ – I do agree with that indeed! I envisioned the speaker assuming the subject in these thoughts would not be able to explore options, but keep pressing until ultimate failure or ultimate success was obtained at any cost. Keeping your options open is exactly what I’d like to think I do! Thank you so much for your thoughts and stopping by 🙂
