I linked up — why not take a whirl, it could be fun for you too!
From Sonya, Week 42 Three Line Tales, Guidelines:
“Check the TLT page for the full guidelines, but here’s the gist:
- Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt.
- Link back to this post.
- Tag your post with 3LineTales (so we can find you in the Reader).
- Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
- If you want your post to be included in the round-up, you have until Sunday evening to publish it.
- Have fun.
Happy three-lining!”
There goes 3 lines of awesomeness! 🙂

I’m working through this challenge on writing more fully, yet succinctly, every week. I truly appreciate your kindness!

Yay! I’ve been participating since Sonya began the challenge and have loved the experience. I hope she’ll continue into next year!! There is a steadily growing band of writers writing weekly and commenting on the challenges. It’s a great break from the week and something I look forward to participating in! So happy you found us 🙂

I always end up going so long, it’s wonderful to see a “short and sweet” take that’s so powerful.

Thank you! Part of the reason I love these prompts is I intentionally break down my ideas and thoughts into the least amount of words possible (in the moment) 😉 Thank you kindly!

I do the same thing with the flash fiction challenges that have strict word count limits, but it’s still hard to say much in less than, say 100 words.
