Homeschooling, Pokemon Go, and Sunny November Mornings

So I’ve just downloaded the WordPress App from the iPhone App store. Oh my goodness, is this going to make blogging much easier! Let’s see how this goes and how steep my learning curve is!

My husband left for work this morning and decided to battle a Pokémon Go! Gym, with one boy overnighting at a friends house, my son and I decided to stop our work to put Pokémon into a gym. And, as long as we were out with the sun, a rarity in the November Pacific Northwest, we also decided to drive down to the Main Street, catch Pokémon and get a doughnut. Being the boy not overnighting at a friends house can be lonely, so special outings and experiences are essential for building our relationship!

I have several blog posts pending publication as drafts, but perhaps blogging daily will become easier just doing it from my phone.

Brilliant!!

What are you doing today?

  1. I commend you for still playing Pokemon Go! I stopped playing a few months ago, it was getting extremely repetitive, but I know there’s been lots of new updates and things. Just my luck LOL.

I’ve always wondered if I should download the WordPress App. I’d love to know how useful you find it 🙂

    1. I have 3 guys in my home and we play together, when we walk our dogs, when we ride our bikes. It’s a great way for us to get out and explore and gather with friends. The WordPress App is pretty intuitive to utilize and not too dissimilar from the laptop version I’ve been blogging from. Just a few kinks, like finding my signature image, I had to switch to my laptop to edit after I published, but I’m sure I can work around. The reader is super easy to use and I could see that being a huge incentive if nothing else! I’ll have to use it a while longer to have more feedback, but so far so good! Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to hearing if you decide to download and how you like it as well 🙂

      1. Ahh, that makes sense on the Pokemon Go front. I was always playing alone, and rare occasions with a group of friends. But if my whole family was joining in, I can see myself having a lot more fun with it. I do look forward to your updates on it on your Instagram ^_^

As for WordPress, sounds like a very big incentive so far! It would be nice to browse through the reader during my commutes. I will definitely consider it. Thanks 😀

  2. WordPress app is cool! When I started using it 4 months ago, I found reading the blogposts on Reader had become quite convenient. However I could’nt get into the habit of writing on my smartphone, I still wait to get before my laptop for creating a new post 🙂

    1. Good to know! The post made from my phone earlier today was a little clunky, but not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. The app is super intuitive, just small learning curve items I’ll be researching. I had someone over on Instagram tell me that there is a WordPress Affiliate free upgraded account, but I’ve not heard more on it. We’ll see how it goes — I have a year to see if I can break even on it 😉 Thank you for always having such kind words and support!
