Three Line Tales: Grace And Space

FIRST: We’re having a great conversation about what Grace and Space means to YOU! Join us on my blog, Melinda’s, Annie’s, Mandibelle’s, and others as we give ourselves permission to be imperfect, daring, reserved, adventurous, loving, withdrawn, human… To be ourselves and walk in contentment, not reservation.

Seize the Day!

NOW: Onto the Three Line Tale!

This challenge is hosted by Sonya @ Only 100 Words –  The idea? 3 lines about the picture, no matter how long or short, but only three lines!

Grace and Space

“In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth,” Genesis 1:1, but on the 7th Day, HE rested. God was teaching us to have Grace and Space from the beginning.

No one will just give this to you; you must take it -NO! SEIZE IT! Demand your right to be your authentic self, following your morals and values – not someone else’s. Choose to be with people who value YOU for who YOU are, warts and all. It makes all the difference to put out the grace and give yourself the space you need to be who you are — it will come back to you ten-fold!

Give yourself the permission to make mistakes, miss appointments, savor the moment, be imperfect, impactful, beautiful, sexy, amazing YOU!

I linked up — why not take a whirl, it could be fun for you too!

From Sonya, Week 19 Three Line Tales, Guidelines:

“Check the TLT page for the full guidelines, but here’s the gist:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt.
  • Link back to this post.
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so we can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • NEW: If you want your post to be included in the round-up, you have until Sunday evening to publish it.
  • Have fun.

Happy three-lining!”

    1. Thank you, Frank! 🙂 I liked your comments regarding all the time and energy you have to do the beautiful work you do with your writing and photography — creating space by minimizing {eliminating?} television and priorities 🙂

  1. This is fantastic! I am so going to quote (and link to) this post. I am working on a post thanks to a wonderful quote from Mandibelle16 that talks about grace from outside (God) and grace from within! This is so perfect! I am keeping the conversation flowing! 🙂 maybe you’ll find fruit for another piece!

    1. Loving that she, Annie, and others have joined in the conversation as I’ve seen notes of this message in many of the writers I enjoy reading — Loving the group think on the issue 🙂

    2. I also read a post from a New-To-Me Blogger defining specific labels she would, and would not accept. It’s BRILLIANT and feeds into the idea of giving ourselves Grace and Space. I have a portion of my book that discusses this is much further detail — as my surgeries last year really drove home the point — 1) we’re not promised tomorrow 2) we’re way harder on ourselves than anyone else will ever be…..Post: — Label Quote, “labels are deceptive

A label can make you part of a group, or exclude you. You can be one of the gang if you *are* this, but may not be a good fit if you *aren’t* that. You can’t be a blogger and a writer. You can’t be authentic if you have the ulterior motive of {gasp} wanting to be read, you *should* write what you want. You can’t be patient and be a homeschool mother. You can’t write creatively and want to inform.”……And, of course, the New-To-Blogger, Kewan’s Post:
