Three Line Tales: The Space Between

This is a new feature of Sonya @ Only 100 Words – is a writer I thoroughly enjoy following! The idea? 3 lines about the picture, no matter how long or short, but only three lines! I linked up — why not take a whirl, it could be fun for you too!

{Note: Sonya’s updated tag request @ the end of this post!}

The Space Between

I’d never noticed the space between.

The space between the cement slabs, the space between the railings, the space in this cutout – how I can look through it to the other side of the wall. It looks so peaceful, almost forgotten.

Too far to reach, to only glimpse, what could be: what might have been. If I’d only seen the space between.

From Sonya, Week 7 Three Line Tales, Guidelines:

“Check the TLT page for the full guidelines, but here’s the gist:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt.
  • Link back to this post.
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so we can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

Happy three-lining!”

      1. 😀 I’ll be pretty much on both… Twitter’s good for when I want to send quick thoughts out to the ether, short, sweet words 🙂 I’m loving our exchanges in both places!
