I love this! She is so funny, blunt, and authentic.

Yes. Indeed. I so agree.

Elizabeth Gilbert is such an inspiration. I loved Eat Pray Love! This year she posted a great idea on her FB page which I am now doing myself. It is to create a memory jar, where every day you note something that made you happy in that day. Then you fold it up and put it in the jar and read them at the end of the year.
A great thought provoking post! When I think about my work, I love it. But I would love more time to be able to write..I guess we all would 🙂

Agreed! Being able to write, to put words down — one after the other — isn’t necessarily a challenge. Stringing those thoughts and ideas into coherent, cohesive, compelling characters, plot, and dialogue that intrigues others — captures their imagination? That’s the challenge I find my musings facing. Thanks so much for your thoughts! Write On!

Definitely…you put this down in words perfectly 🙂 It is one thing capturing ideas and thoughts, but there is definite mechanics in devising plots and inventing characters. Have a fabulous weekend!
