With our ever growing excitement of the Star Wars saga reemerging on the big screen, it’s hard not to see all the corporate tie-ins.
While commercialism is ever-present in our society, we do try to limit it within our home (*a great blog to get you started on this is over at Becoming Minimalist)
However, when I saw these T-shirts, I couldn’t help but to chuckle and this of my homeschooling readers who may find them irresistible (Hey, you do have to wear clothes anyway!). That being said, I am sharing an picture sent via daily email by Kris Bales over at Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers:
While my children are no longer interested in graphic T’s, I know a lot of children (AND adults!) love them. As such, maybe your family is also thinking of gift-giving this year with a purpose. Maybe your family is also thinking of ways to give gifts with meaning that are consumable in nature. Children’s clothing is certainly consumable in our home, so this gift could be the perfect thing for a Star Wars loving homeschooler!
Is your family eagerly awaiting the release of the new Star Wars in theatres? Are you going to the opening, dressing up, or otherwise finding joy in this new story to add to the saga?
